Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Mission
Our mission is to stand in the gap and make up the hedge for our churches, communities and nation that the Kingdom of God will be manifest in lives of every believer and lost souls be saved.
Method Seek God in Prayer – communing with God – Partnering with Our Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 4:26 … then began men to call upon the name of the Lord Psalms 27:8 When thou sadist, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord will I seek. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things will be added unto you. Stand in the Gap – Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. I Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord. Confess our Faults – James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Ministers’ & Deacons’ Wives
Ministers’ & Deacons’ wives are essential partners in the leadership of the church. They are a group of multi-talented and gifted women that God has chosen to be precious helpmates to their husbands, and has called out to serve Him. One of the primary purposes of the Ministers’ & Deacons’ Wives Ministry is to be servants of God, by assisting in the preparation of Holy Communion, and preparing candidates for baptism. They also are actively involved and assimilated throughout the various ministries and special events within the church. Contact: Lady Angela King, Chair
Music Ministry Department
The Music Ministry is dedicated to leading the believer and unbeliever into God centered Praise and Worship. They are committed to promoting unity in the Spirit, where our focus is not on ourselves, but on Him. Ushering in His presence, where His power is released on His people, inspiring them to discipleship, evangelism, ministry and most of all an intimate relationship with Christ. They diligently support all church activities and functions, including accompanying the pastor on visits to other churches. There are various voices/vessels through whom the Father’s love is clearly reflected, and all are always welcome to become a part of the Music Ministry.
The Music Ministry consists of The Gospel Voices of Faith Mass Choir. They rehearse on Tuesdays at the church at 7:30 p.m. and are under the direction of Bro. Ryan Luckie, Minister of Music. Contact: Sis. Joyce Cargile, Chair
